Best IT Facilities
Computer Technology Centre (CTC), a centralized computing facility, provides world-class computing, network and educational technology support for the academic and research community of Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences . The academic computing resources include high-end IBM PureFlex System, Blade servers, Rack servers, Workstations and Personal Computers. Green computing is practiced by server consolidation and desktop virtualization using VMware products.
A separate Storage Area Network has been commissioned by the centre for data storage. CTC is well-equipped with licensed software for academic and administrative needs. We encourage the use of free and open source software.

Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Entrepreneurship Cell (E-cells) is set up to foster entrepreneurship among the students. It is like a club, run by students and driven by the management of the institutes.Students learn important & useful trait about entrepreneurship. Even though students do not take up entrepreneurship as a full-time profession, the skill sets learned as E-Cell members would be extremely helpful to them in any job.
E-Cells conduct several activities such as workshops, interaction with successful entrepreneurs, building prototypes, setting up small campus companies where other students can be your customers, internship opportunities with outside companies etc.

Residential Life
Karunya is a residential University. Students are housed in thirteen different, well-furnished hostels with all the necessary facilities provided within the campus. Students need not look far for any amenity that they may require during their stay on campus. From a hospital to a bank, from dine-outs to utility stores, from Xerox shops to photo studios, you name it - we have it on campus!
A capable hostel administration governs all the activities of the hostel residences; Apart from the staff, each hostel also has a set of care-takers catering to the needs of the students. The University maintains a safe, secure and comfortable environment for the staff and students, where they can interact with each other at all times and the students may find support and solace while facing any challenges or struggles during their college life.
Sports Facilities
KITS has an excellent infrastructure to meet the sporting requirements and regular physical exercise. The University has a newly constructed indoor auditorium having an area of 748.162 sq.m meant for shuttle badminton, table tennis and carom. The Evangeline fitness gym is one among the top class facilities constructed & maintained by the Department of Physical Education of KDU. This gym is installed with the latest gym equipment of the highest standard.
